CMP Exam Changes

The Events Industry Council has released an update to the Certified Meeting Professional International Standards (CMP-IS), which means the exam is changing this year. You have until March 31 to take the exam before it changes! 

A beta version of the new exam will be available between April 1 and May 31. To participate in the beta test, you must fill an interest form AND submit your initial CMP certification application by Friday, March 7.

There is a blackout period where no tests will be administered between June 1 and July 31. 

The revised CMP exam and study materials are slated for release in August 2025.
